If You Look For Reasons

If you look for reasons
To fear,
To distrust,
To hate,
You will find them.

But the world also gives us reasons
To hope,
To trust,
To care.

The world gives us plenty of both sets to find.

It is up to us to choose what to look for
And what to make of what we find.
